The Montana Arts Council (MAC) is the agency of state government established to develop the creative potential of all Montanans, advance education, spur economic vibrancy and revitalize communities through involvement in the arts.

Responsibilities of the Business Specialist include:
• Managing web-based software and databases;
• Carrying out technical accounting duties; and
• Providing general office support.

A successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills, effective written and verbal communication, and strong attention to detail. Familiarity with specific software is not required; training will be provided.

The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and works collaboratively with all team members.

Qualifications: 
Requires education or experience equivalent to an associate degree in basic database management, business administration, technology, or a related field; and one-year office administration experience including computer and bookkeeping experience.
