MINDPOP seeks a capable individual to provide direct support for the Executive Director implementing program and communication efforts that increase student access to the arts and creative learning in Austin and across the nation.

MINDPOP is a non-profit organization that designs and builds creative learning systems nationwide. As the managing partner of Austin’s Creative Learning Initiative, we are responsible for the design and coordination of this Collective Impact effort with lead partners Austin ISD, the City of Austin and implementation partners from more than 100+ arts organizations. MINDPOP offers consulting services nationally to communities interested in expanding creative learning system models in their own community.

The Executive Program Associate will be responsible for working with the Executive Director to develop written materials, presentations, graphics, and other communications efforts. The Executive Program Associate will provide general administrative support to the Executive Director. Ideal candidates will have strong communications skills, including strong writing and copy-editing skills; proficiency in social media platforms and website maintenance; and strong design, graphic or illustration skills and experience using publishing tools like InDesign.

Specific job responsibilities:
• Develop and copy edit text and presentations in various formats with simple graphics creation
• Advance MINDPOP communication efforts, including social media and website maintenance
• Provide administrative support for the Executive Director
• Assume other responsibilities, as requested.
Minimum qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience to perform the job responsibilities outlined above
• Proven project management, communication skills, and organizational skills

Compensation:
• Salary range between $38,000 – $42,000 based on qualifications and experience
