Managing Director

SHAKESPEARE DALLAS is seeking a creative and energetic individual to serve as its next Managing Director. Reporting to and working closely with the board of directors, the Managing Director, in partnership with the Artistic Director, will be responsible for the overall success and growth of Shakespeare Dallas, including its productions, operations, programs, facility, financial sustainability, and impact. The Managing Director will effectively manage Shakespeare Dallas’s strategic partnerships, administration, marketing, development, fiscal management, and operations, as well as supervise and develop its human resources. The Managing Director will also co-oversee government relations and production budgets. The person in this role will be public-facing in the North Texas region as well as nationally, to build visibility and financial support for Shakespeare Dallas. The Managing Director, collaborating and partnering with the Artistic Director, will inspire the board and staff, other arts organizations, and community members to fulfill the mission of Shakespeare Dallas to serve the Southwest with fun and accessible outdoor and indoor theater, integrated school programs, and cultural enrichment for people of all ages and backgrounds
