Jubilee Theatre is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create and present theatrical works which reflect the African American experience. The company has been in existence for 43 years and is located in the heart of the Fort Worth downtown entertainment district, Sundance Square.

The organization is seeking to fill the role of The Managing Director. This seasoned leader will serve as the business and financial manager and will supervise all operational staff. Is responsible for all development and fundraising, as well as the day-to-day business operations. This individual works in close coordination with the Artistic Director, who is responsible for all creative programming and artistic personnel.

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of five years of significant work experience in the fields of management and fund development with demonstrated success in fundraising is required. Fund development and management experience in an arts organization are desirable. Superior writing, organization and communication skills are necessary. Strong computer skills are required, including MS word and Excel; experience with QuickBooks, Access and database platforms are a plus.
