Position Title: Part-Time Arts Educator

Hours: Flexibility from 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Minimum of 12 hours per week, maximum of 20 hours per week.
Payrate: $30 per hour
Job Overview:
Are you passionate about art education and project-based learning? We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Part-Time Arts Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education or art education, with a particular interest in writing or English Language Arts. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, engaging, and personable, with a knack for exploring and implementing innovative instructional methods. The part time educator is responsible for adhering to the Learning Program curriculum and lesson implementation style. The department will work together to establish KPIs and outcomes, as well as qualitative and quantitative feedback for advancing the program. This role will report to the program manager and coordinator for assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging art instruction and project-based learning activities for students across multiple campuses.
• Coordinate and manage various art projects, ensuring timely completion and effective use of resources.
• Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student exploration and expression.
• Utilize research-based methods to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes.
• Maintain clear and organized records of student progress and project development.
• Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their artistic and educational goals.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to integrate art education into broader curriculum and school activities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a degree in education, art education, or a related field. Higher degree preferred.
• Background in writing or English Language Arts.
• Strong interest and knowledge in project-based learning methodologies.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campuses and art projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Engaging and personable with excellent communication skills.
• Research-oriented, with the ability to integrate innovative educational practices.

Additional Requirements:
• Flexibility to work between 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Reliable transportation to commute between campuses.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge and experience in photography is preferred but not required.

Benefits:
• Vacation pay for part-time, hourly employees will be based on the number of hours per day the employee is assigned to work during the preceding twelve (12) months, not to exceed eight (8) hours a day.
• Sick leave pay for part-time hourly employees will be based on the average number of hours generally worked, not to exceed eight (8) per day.
• All employees of FotoFest are covered by Workers’ Compensation Insurance for injuries or illness sustained on the job.
