Selected Artists receive a $500 – $1000 honorarium

Awards – First Place – $1000, Second Place $500, Peoples Choice $250

Guest Curator – Colin McIntyre, award-winning sculptor specializing in public art commissions.

The Bee Cave Arts Foundation invites artists to submit proposals for a two-year outdoor sculpture exhibition at the beautiful Bee Cave Sculpture Park. The park is an open-air gallery featuring 30 works of art in a 7-acre natural setting located in Bee Cave, Texas.

EXHIBITION THEME: GREEN ART

We invite submissions that explore our relationship with the natural world. Sculptures may incorporate elements such as:

· Environmentally sustainable materials

· Forms inspired by nature

· Interactive qualities that engage with natural forces such as sunlight, wind, or water

HONORARIUM & RECOGNITION

· 3 to 5 sculptures will be selected for a two year installation in the park during the 2025 season.

· Each selected artist will receive an honorarium between $500 -$1,000

· Sculptures on loan may be for sale. If sold, the artist will donate 20% of the purchase price to the BCAF. The artist agrees to provide an approved replacement.

· Featured in marketing materials, local promotions, and educational programming.

· Opportunities to connect with the community through outreach events.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

· Open to both emerging and established artists.

· Artists may submit up to three sculptures for consideration

· All submitted sculptures must be constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials suitable for long-term outdoor display. Works should be able to withstand exposure to the elements and remain structurally sound and safe without the need for ongoing maintenance for the full two-year exhibition period.

· Artists are responsible for the transportation, installation, and deinstallation of their works.
