We will be accepting submissions for our next Open Call from August 1 through October 31, 2025. We will be programming for each of our gallery spaces in our Winter 2027 (January-April) and Summer 2027 (May-July) exhibition cycles, totalling six exhibitions.
OPEN CALL proposals are reviewed by the ARTIST ADVISORY BOARD made up of artists and arts professionals from the region. Sophie Asakura is ALH’s current Artist Advisory Board chair. The proposal selection process is highly competitive as Art League Houston receives numerous submissions each year. Artists are selected on overall quality and innovation. The Artist Advisory Board selection process will take place between November 2025 – January 2026. Once selections have been made, all artists will be notified by email and updated on the status of their proposal (by the end of January 2026). Selected exhibitions will be programmed into the 2027 Winter and Summer cycles. Please do not call or email to inquire about the results.
