Description
Texas based singer/songwriter Bob Livingston tours nationally and internationally. He is a founding member of Austin’s legendary Lost Gonzo Band who toured and recorded with many of Texas’ most iconic musicians including Jerry Jeff Walker, Michael Martin Murphey, and Ray Wylie Hubbard. Known as a consummate storyteller, Livingston takes his audiences on animated and colorful rides down the back roads of his extensive musical history. His own recordings have received wide acclaim, notably Album of the Year at the Texas Music Awards for his album, Gypsy Alibi. Livingston provides concerts and programs as a solo artist, as a duo, a trio, and with a full band. He conducts workshops, lectures, and seminars on songwriting and on the Texas music history he has lived and breathed. He also leads a multicultural group called Cowboys & Indians (Where East Meets West) with musicians and performers from Texas and India featuring songs, lore, and lively dance interpretations from both East and West. Livingston also presents a wide variety of programs for schools, pre-K through university. He was inducted into the Texas Music Legends Hall of Fame in 2016 and the West Texas Walk of Fame in 2018.
