Cultural District Designation

(Due June 15 - Postmark or Electronic Receipt)

Please submit these 3 required attachments (do not place tabs or bind attachments into a notebook or folder):

  1. A list of all non-profit arts and cultural organizations that are officially a part of your cultural district.

  2. Audiovisual material that will help evaluators visualize your project. We recommend a 5 minute powerpoint that covers the following:
    • Brief overview and description of your Cultural District that includes a map.

    • Brief description of Cultural District assets, events and activities that will attract visitors and generate economic impact.

    • A demonstration of community support for the Cultural District through interviews with stakeholders and photographs and/or video of activities. Remember to emphasize artistic quality through this material.

    • Marketing and promotion plans for the Cultural District and who your partners include.

    • Show how you will capture statistical data on visitors from people 50 miles+ outside your community.

  3. Copy of your most recent IRS Letter of Determination

Grant evaluators will only consider the materials referenced above. Any other materials received from applicants outside of the categories mentioned above will be disregarded and not given to evaluators.
