The Box Office Associate provides quality customer service through transactions with patrons purchasing tickets and subscriptions in person, over the phone and online. The Box Office Associate must be able to work promptly in a fast paced environment while giving courteous service. The Box Office Associate must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Working knowledge of Tessitura or comparable tickets software.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Process single tickets sales, subscription sales and exchanges.
Answer basic questions about current and upcoming productions.
Working knowledge of box office operations.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Ability to work flexible hours along with holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, listen and talk on the phone, work on a computer, and lift up to 35lbs

EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred. At least 1-2 years box office or related customer service experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Working knowledge of Google Apps
Basic math skills
Quick on your feet and problem solver
Able to learn and use Tessitura ticketing software
