The Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra is seeking to fill the position of Executive Director. The CCSO is governed by a 30-member Board of Directors and has a staff of four full-time and three part-time employees.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Valid drivers license
Three years of successful leadership and management responsibility
Two years of demonstrated successful non-profit fundraising experience
Two years of office/personnel management
Experience in writing grant applications and the requisite report responsibilities associated with receiving grant funding
Demonstrated integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic
Experience in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
Vision for serving the community and fostering an audience representative of the city’s population
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Arts Management from an accredited college/university
Three to five years of progressively responsible leadership and management experience
Experience in a symphony orchestra leadership position
A working knowledge of music, musicians, concert production, and symphony operations
Salary Range $70-90K
About Corpus Christi Symphony Society, Inc.
Since its founding in 1946, the CCSO has enriched the cultural life of Coastal Bend with outstanding orchestra performances, exceptionally gifted musicians, internationally acclaimed guest artists, and excellent educational programs. The Orchestra performs a five to six-concert subscription series at the Performing Arts Center at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, plus one or two pops events at other locations. Throughout the calendar year, CCSO on the Go ensemble performances bring music to area schools and public events. Our Pat Furley Education Concerts reach thousands of students throughout the area each year. These concerts, coupled with our full sponsorship of the Corpus Christi Area Youth Orchestra, demonstrate the CCSO’s commitment to cultural education for all. Our mission is to inspire, engage, and educate diverse audiences through live, high quality musical performances throughout the Coastal Bend region. The CCSO is governed by a 30-member Board of Directors and has a staff of four full-time and three part-time employees. Our operating budget for the 2022-23 Season is $900K.
