Dr. Jolie Rocke is a Houston-based multi-genre vocalist whose talents have taken her to prestigious stages across the United States, Europe, and Far North Queensland, Australia. ‘Rocke can make her queen-size instrument of a voice fit cozily and expressively in an array of soulful sounds,’ as she does in her CD, Rock of Ages: Hymns for the Soul. She is a ‘gifted, versatile vocalist who’s as much at home soaring on opera arias and celestial hymns as she is getting down with funky blues and earthy jazz.’ Dr. Maya Angelou exclaimed, ‘Jolie Rocke sings with such passion… and compassion!’ With more than 30 years as an arts educator for all ages, she shares the gift of song when she trains, coaches, and mentors aspiring artists. She is a producer, master class clinician, panelist, and multidisciplinary arts program director. Her creative program offerings include recitals, concerts, soloist w/choirs, voice workshops, lecture-demonstrations, fully-staged productions, and more. Stellar collaborative musicians, actors, and artists join Dr. Rocke in performances which can be customized for audiences.
