Description
Houston Boychoir sparks rich musical experiences throughout the city, state, and region. With a reputation for artistic excellence, Houston Boychoir is in high demand among major performing arts organizations. Boys regularly collaborate with professional ensembles such as the Houston Symphony Orchestra, Bach Society Houston, Opera in the Heights, Mercury, and more. Serving as ambassadors for their city, state, and nation, the boys perform down the street and around the world through annual concert tours across the United States, Europe, China, and South Africa. Audiences everywhere delight in the choir’s ephemeral sound, charming exuberance, and professional demeanor. Houston Boychoir’s musical touring repertoire is widely varied and draws on literature from all styles, languages, and periods of music history to be personalized to your event. In addition to classical, liturgical, and traditional selections, boys present folk music that spans the globe in language and origin. Our repertoire also includes contemporary compositions and Broadway hits. Photo by Kevin McGowan.
