Description
At each edition of the quadrennial Van Cliburn International Piano Competition– widely considered ‘one of the most prestigious contests in classical music’ (The New York Times)– a vast global audience in the tens of millions watches with anticipation as the world’s next classical music stars distinguish themselves by sharing their unique artistic voices. The Cliburn is proud to provide representation to the Cliburn laureates-– Dmytro Choni, Anna Geniushene, and Clayton Stephenson-– helping to launch their careers as significant touring musicians. This commitment to supporting young artists and directly connecting them with audiences across the country builds on a rich tradition that began in 1962 in honor of Van Cliburn and his vision for using music to serve audiences and break down boundaries. The Cliburn laureates are available for solo, chamber, and concerto performances, as well as outreach and residency programs. Photo by Ralph Lauer/The Cliburn.
