ProjectART is a nonprofit arts education organization dedicated to expanding access to high-quality visual arts experiences for rural Central Texas.
ProjectART invites artists to submit work for SATURATION, a group exhibition exploring vivid color, visual intensity, and the idea of fullness. We are seeking works that embrace bold palettes, rich surfaces, and immersive compositions, as well as pieces that investigate saturation conceptually through abundance, excess, density, emotion, or sensory experience. We also welcome work that considers saturation as a social, psychological, cultural, or environmental condition, examining themes such as information overload, consumerism, identity, memory, being engulfed with an emotion, and/or the point at which intensity transforms perception. All visual art media are welcome.
