This is a request for qualifications for a proposal for art for the new Clark Small Animal Teaching Hospital at Texas A&M University.
Texas A&M University and the College of Veterinary Medicine seek an exceptional professional artist or artist-led team to create a site-specific artwork for the Clark Small Animal Teaching Hospital, a new facility opening in Summer 2027.
The anticipated budget for this work is approximately $500,000
The selected artist/team will be responsible for:
- Site-specific design development
- Detailed drawings, renderings, and technical documentation
- Budget and timeline development
- Fabrication and installation oversight
- Coordination with architects, engineers, and university stakeholders
- Maintenance documentation and public presentations
Timeline - RFP Deadline: December 15, 2026 (11:59 PM CT)
- Artist Selection: January 29, 2027
- Design Development: February – May 2027
- Fabrication: May – June/July 2027
- Installation: July/August 2027
