Description
Blue Water Highway is a Texas-based Americana folk/rock band known for their soulful harmony singing, thoughtful songwriting, and live performances featuring a variety of styles and instruments that are just as captivating and entertaining as their albums. The band’s core consists of childhood friends Zack Kibodeaux and Greg Essington, who named the group after their coastal hometown highway that runs from the mouth of the Brazos River to Galveston, TX. Over a decade of national and international touring, they’ve made four full-length albums of original music that embrace their Texas and American roots, from blues, folk, and country, to classic rock and roll combined with a modern twist. Timeless and familiar, yet fresh and original, they were hailed by The Austin American-Statesman as ‘one of Austin’s best Americana acts.’ They are available for intimate acoustic performances as well as full rock band shows and have played for a wide range of audiences at festivals, clubs, summer camps, house concerts, schools, churches, and performing arts centers.
