Central Texas Philharmonic
Central Texas Philharmonic (CTP) was founded in 2018 through the merger of the Round Rock Symphony and the Georgetown Symphony Society, uniting two long-standing traditions of musical excellence and community service. Under the leadership of Music Director Stefan Sanders, CTP launched its inaugural season in 2019 with six subscription programs and the establishment of a Youth Orchestra, now a cornerstone of the organization's educational mission. After returning to live performances in 2021, CTP has continued to expand its artistic reach and regional presence. The orchestra has performed live film scores in partnership with Texas Performing Arts (Austin), Majestic Theater (San Antonio) serves as Orchestra in Residence for the Texas State International Piano Competition (San Marcos), and regularly brings high-quality classical music to diverse venues throughout Central Texas.
