Danielle Talamantes, Kerry Wilkerson
Danielle Talamantes and Kerry Wilkerson are a Texas-based vocal duo who regularly collaborate with orchestras and chamber ensembles. They are available for orchestral or large-scale performance partnerships with local and regional presenters and also offer intimate, engaging piano-accompanied recital programs for community audiences, municipalities, libraries, and educational presenters throughout the state. Their work focuses on creating welcoming concert experiences that connect high-quality vocal performance with shared human stories and regional cultural history. Through the Texas Touring Roster, they currently offer the following touring performance programs: Songs of Faith, Hope, and Love – A vocal duet recital exploring the emotional arc of human relationships through art song, opera, and musical theater repertoire. Greek Loves – A recital inspired by classical Greek concepts of love, including eros, philia, agape, and storge, presented through diverse art song and duet selections. German Song and Texas Roots – A unique program celebrating German art song and ensemble repertoire, highlighting the lasting influence of German immigration on Texas communities and the state's long tradition of community music-making. They also offer community-centered educational activities, including non-credit vocal workshops, lecture-demonstrations, and masterclasses for community singers and high school participants. Educational offerings may be paired with any touring performance. Photo by Roy Cox.
