Lone Star Circus
Lone Star Circus is a Texas-based touring company presenting contemporary circus productions that blend acrobatics, dance, comedy, and live or electronic music in a family-friendly format. Performances are scalable for theaters, festivals, civic plazas, schools, and community venues throughout Texas, with flexible cast sizes and staging designed for audiences of approximately 200–1,000. The company presents a 50–70 minute contemporary circus performance with no intermission, adaptable for both indoor and outdoor environments and accessible to audiences of all ages. Productions may be presented in intimate big-top settings or traditional theater spaces. Lone Star Circus also offers a free 50-minute pre-show community workshop, Circus in the Square, featuring hands-on stations in juggling, balance, flexibility, and stagecraft. Workshops are open to all ages and include ADA-conscious modifications. Educational add-ons are available and include masterclasses (45–90 minutes), artist talks (20–30 minutes), and 1–5 day residencies. School programs may incorporate optional TEKS-aligned curriculum.
