Magic in the Library
Get ready for the wildest and most innovative magic you've ever seen! Magic in the Library with illusionist and sleight-of-hand artist Bronson Chadwick is where the world of reading and the art of magic collide! Students of all ages will interact with language arts topics through the dazzling presentation of interactive theatrical magic. Each onstage magic routine illustrates helpful hints that kids can use in the classroom and in the real world. Bronson uses magic effects to teach major State of Texas language arts topics such as: fiction versus nonfiction, literary genres, literary mediums, how to write a one-page paper, how to break down long passages on standardized tests, how to find books and literary mediums that appeal to the individual, and more. These concepts are taught with sleight-of-hand and mechanical/theatrical prop illusions as well. After the performance is over, a hands-on magic learning workshop is also available.
