Magik Theatre
For over 30 years, Magik has brought books, characters, and stories to life on stage for young people. As the only resident professional theater company dedicated to young audiences in San Antonio and South Texas, Magik feels a strong responsibility to ensure that the arts remain an integral part of students' education. They support teachers with classroom activity guides for every production. Guides provide cross-curricular lessons that integrate social-emotional learning and are aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Magik on the Road fills your space with world-class theater that brings stories to life and inspires students' imagination, creativity, and empathy. Magik on the Road will arrive with the necessary equipment and enjoys performing in a variety of venues, from libraries to cafeterias to performing arts centers. Bring the joy of Magik to your students! Recent tour offerings include Red Riding Hood and Tomas and The Library Lady. Previous touring shows included Eddie and Vinnie, Carmella Full of Wishes, and Maddi's Fridge. Future touring options will include holiday-specific shows alongside other high-quality, educational touring productions that inspire young audiences and serve schools and communities.
