Sue Foley is a triple-threat lead guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist multi-award-winning musician. Sue is equally comfortable performing with a full band at a festival or outdoor venue, in front of audiences of over 10,000, or in an intimate setting as an acoustic performer (solo or trio). She also offers workshops on Women in Guitar and Texas Blues. She’s performed alongside legends like Billy F Gibbons (ZZ Top), Jimmie Vaughan, Buddy Guy, ‘The Queen of The Blues’ Koko Taylor, and many more. Foley has a long history of defying convention and being a positive role model for aspiring, young female musicians. She began her recording career in Austin, TX with Antone’s. The Ice Queen (March 2, 2018), features guests Jimmie Vaughan, ZZ Top’s Billy F Gibbons, Charlie Sexton, and other Lone Star State all-stars. It’s been nominated for a Juno Award, two Blues Music Awards and six Maple Blues Awards. Other accolades include 2019 Juno Award Nominee, two 2019 Blues Music Award Nominations, 2020 Blues Music Award Nominee, four 2020 Maple Blues Awards Nominations, 2020 Austin Music Award Nominee.
