Yuck Show
The Yuck Show combines science spectacles, silly audience stunts, and comedy in an imaginative production to both entertain and inspire wonder about the science of the world around us. Ping pong balls explode into the air, slime oozes, and wild visual effects engage audiences. Performer Brian Whittington's focus for the last 25 years has been creating visual spectacles at the intersection of art and science, with the objective of inspiring a sense of awe, whimsy, and wonder in the audience and presenting science in an accessible way. As the producer and principal performer of the Yuck Show, Brian performs 300 shows a year at schools, museums, and theaters across the US, and has also toured 47 cities across China. The Yuck Show is available as both a school assembly program or as a larger production scaled for theater audiences. Workshop options are also available. Photo by Andrew McKay.
